On the morning of 14th January, Principal Xiao Qingke and Director Guo Yulong with Mount. Ping Ding Senior High School in He Nan Province paid an official one-day-and-a-half visit to Anqing Foreign Language School, accompanied by Chairman Mr. Xie Changqing and President Madam Huang Wenli.
Headmaster Xiao Qingke’s visit witnessed the history museum, the introduction documentary of Anqing Foreign Language School. Furthermore, they viewed and emulated the painting room in Primary Section in addition to Junior High Division’s classes. Aside from that, they experienced Junior High Section’s featured extracurricular activities as well as listening& speaking& reading& writing& American culture lessons in ESL courses presented by our school’s foreign teacher Katie.
The specialized exchange forum between Principal Xiao Qingke and leaders from Anqing Foreign Language School was the highlight of this interchange event. First of all, President Madam Huang Wenli expressed a warm welcome to Principal Xiao. Second of all, teachers Liu& Wang from Mount. Ping Ding Experimental Senior High School gave an account of their school’s international communication conditions, followed by our school’s International Department Director Mr. Xu Zuitai’s introduction of international exchange status in Anqing Foreign Language School. Director Mr. Xu Zuitai put emphasis on 2015 the Fast Track to Universities in California, USA Program issued by the Education Bureau of Anqing City. In addition, leaders from both schools proceeded detailed discussion and exchanged views on curriculum provision, faculty arrangement, student enrolling as well as student management& activity layouts in the study-abroad class.
In summary, Chairman Mr. Xie Changqing affirmed the significance of this symposium and thought highly of it as well. In the meantime, he expected leaders from both schools would make joint efforts to better international communication project.
